Evaluation
Are you keen to get a comprehensive evaluation of a project or programme? Do you want to use this to develop new initiatives, secure additional funding or just check that you're making a difference?
Lumin have developed a reputation for comprehensive programme evaluations. We have been developing Evaluation Frameworks that result in a Balanced Scorecard. We typically use existing data and add primary research and stakeholder interviews to round out the picture. Robyn recently presented some case material to the Thinking Rec! conference for planners and policy makers. Download the presentation (1.6 MB) or contact Robyn to discuss further.
Mentoring - helping your light to shine

Do you have staff who have unrealised potential - or do you want to make the most of your own? The Emerging Leaders Mentoring Group targets promising staff in the parks, recreation and aquatics sectors. Robyn Cockburn facilitates this group which meets monthly for six months. Information for managers and emerging leaders is available. A mentoring agreement outlines the programme's commitments. If you are interested in finding out more, contact Robyn.
Our one to one mentoring service will put you in touch with people in your particular area of work who have skills and experience to suit your business needs. Working with others and sharing their insight and wisdom is a great way to encourage your staff and provide them with the motivation to succeed.

"I would definitely recommend Robyn. Working with her has meant much more than just getting an excellent job done. Robyn shares of herself and her experience generously - she has mentored me, helped me to develop new skills and grow professionally. I'm happy just to be around and watch her magic!" - Esther Bukholt, Community Recreation Advisor, Wellington City Council

"The peer review panel was impressed with the extent of primary research that had gone into the context document. The strategy and implementation plan was clearly evidence based with a sound logic. Interesting approach of interweaving international, national and local research. There was good reference to other relevant local strategies (e.g. youth and older adults). The strategy is written in easy to understand language, with good layout, presentation and executive summary." - NZRA Peer Review Panel
